Alfred & Phyllis Holley
During Alfred and Phyllis' years at Elizabeth Chapel, Alfred has been the head pastor for 43. Alfred’s current title at Elizabeth Chapel is that of Co-Pastor (since 2007). During any given week, Alfred will be found visiting shut-ins, the sick, absentees, and the discouraged in hospitals, homes, and rest homes. He also spends a substantial amount of time in study in preparation for teaching, for funerals, filling the pulpit, and a telephone ministry.
Alfred and Phyllis have been married since 1966. They have four children, seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Pastor Alfred Holley describes the church body of Elizabeth Chapel as a loving, caring congregation. Alfred states, “We as a church family are committed to being an evangelistic church, leading men, women, teens, boys and girls to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. We are a church for broken people. We are a church for the young generation as well as the aging generation, and a church for interdependent people. We are also a church for forgotten people and the troubled. We are a church that tithes our income to missions. Our church is a united body that will achieve these goals.” |
