Last year Elizabeth Chapel started the year with combined services with other local churches each Sunday evening in January. We called these services "Better Together". Because we are one body and we all worship one Savior! The church joining us for the "Better Together" combined service will typically bring their praise band, choir, and/or soloists to sing and lead worship for the service and a speaker from our guest church will bring a message. Elizabeth Chapel will be hosting Better Together Services in 2016.
The following services have been scheduled for 2016: January 3, 2016 - Better Together Service Rodney Church of Light - Speaker: Todd Hines January 10, 2016 - Better Together Service Vinton Baptist Church - Speaker: Heath Jenkins January 17, 2016 - Better Together Service Triedstone Missionary Baptist - Speaker: Melvin Freeman January 24, 2016 - Better Together Service Mount Carmel Baptist Church - Speaker: Gene Armstrong January 31, 2016 - Better Together Service Soul Harvest Church - Speaker: Jason Simpkins All "Better Together" services begin at 6 PM at Elizabeth Chapel Church in Gallipolis, OH. Blessed are the Peacemakers...Matthew 5:9 (ESV) Blessed are the Peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God. KEY verse from the youth program for November 11, 2015. The youth program is currently working its way through the beatitudes. The Wednesday Night Youth Program at Elizabeth Chapel Church has undergone some serious change for the 2015 school year. Our Wednesday night is structured like a short day at school and includes a Bible lesson, an activity, a snack, and collective worship. Wednesday night youth is open to all children preschool age through seniors in high school. The Pre-K and Kindergarten have their own classes. The first through sixth grade have are split up as follows: 1st & 2nd, 3rd & 4th, 5th & 6th. The junior high and high school age kids have their own Wednesday night service on the 3rd floor. The 7th through 12th graders will occasionally be split up into junior high and senior high groups and have separate lessons. We invite you to bring your children to Wednesday night youth. We are looking forward to what God does this year through our youth ministry. In addition to our Wednesday night youth program, Elizabeth Chapel also has a Wednesday Night Adult Bible Study for those of us that are not "school age". Both the Wednesday Night Youth Program and Adult Bible Study start at 7 p.m. on Wednesdays.
Our quarterly youth Sunday was November 8, 2015. Children up through 6th grade shared with the church through songs, scripture, and skits. The morning message was brought by our youth pastor Mark Beaver.
